Narcassistic Spouses | Dr Rick Netshiozwi | Master Class

About

Some marriages become emotionally exhausting not because couples experience ordinary disagreements, but because their relationship dynamics are characterised by persistent manipulation, humiliation, control, disregard for boundaries or repeated violations of trust. In these relationships, one spouse may feel constantly criticised, dismissed, confused or responsible for problems that never seem to be resolved. Attempts to communicate concerns may result in blame-shifting, intimidation, emotional withdrawal or arguments that leave the individual questioning their own perceptions. These experiences have contributed to growing public interest in narcissism and narcissistic behaviour within romantic relationships. Unfortunately, widespread discussion of narcissism has also created misunderstanding, with the term sometimes being used to describe anyone who behaves selfishly, disagrees with a partner or demonstrates emotional immaturity. Narcissistic Spouses is a comprehensive relationship education programme designed to help participants understand narcissistic traits, identify unhealthy relationship patterns, recognise emotional and psychological abuse and develop practical strategies for protecting their dignity, safety and well-being. Developed by Dr Rick Netshiozwi, this masterclass approaches narcissism with seriousness, psychological awareness and an emphasis on responsible interpretation. It distinguishes between narcissistic personality traits, harmful relationship behaviour and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a clinical condition that requires assessment by a qualified mental health professional.
